About Me
Hi, I’m Amber Delaune. I’m a bookkeeper, payroll specialist, and spreadsheet enthusiast with a heart for helping others feel empowered through financial clarity.
I’m a working mom, a recent accounting graduate (Class of 2025), and the founder of Balanced Books with Delaune. Before I returned to school, I spent several years in the oil and gas industry as a timekeeper. I later worked in banking as a teller. Both roles sharpened my attention to detail and deepened my appreciation for structure, trust, and transparency in financial work.
What drives me now is creating calm, ethical systems for clients who want to feel in control of their money, not overwhelmed by it. I specialize in building neurodivergent-friendly workflows, offering support that’s grounded, judgment-free, and made to meet people where they are.
I believe everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to manage their finances; regardless of background, identity, or where they’re starting from.
When I’m not buried in a spreadsheet or organizing a budget, you’ll find me parenting, singing with confidence, or advocating for financial accessibility with a touch of humor and a lot of heart.
